This album is something like Frankenstein's monster! We recorded 23 tracks at Planet Sounds back in around 2006, and made 2 albuns from those sessions- 'Keeping Me Home' and 'Burnt Fingers'. The best takes have been put together here for their first digital release. The album title and art is from a re-packaged version of the 'What Am I?' album which was put out as an E.P. via Angry Badger records in 2010.

The songs themselves were mostly recorded in one take each, given the 23 original songs were produced in 3 days! Even the solos were done as part of the live takes, the only overdubs are the vocals, acoustic guitars and stereo guitars. As such, this is a great representation of the real timshel sound, and the under-produced sound of the album adds to the charm. Or at least we think so. Again, we hope you enjoy.
